Everything you need to know about earning Octane, cashing in rewards, and climbing the grid.
What is the XLR8 Pit Pass?
It's our free rewards program. Every time you order from the trailer or pickup, you bank Octane, and you cash that Octane in for free drinks and XLR8 gear. The more you pull up, the more you earn and the higher you climb the grid.
How much does it cost to join?
Nothing. The Pit Pass is free to join, sign up with your phone number or email and you're in. You even get a free 16oz drink on your first visit as a welcome.
How do I earn Octane?
You earn 1 Octane for every $1 you spend as a Pit Crew member. Climb to Driver and you earn 1.5×, and Champions earn 1.75× on every dollar. Watch for Double Octane Days and reload bonuses. One earn multiplier applies per order, your tier or a Double-Octane Day, whichever is higher.
What can I redeem my Octane for?
25 = $1 off · 75 = $2 off · 125 = a free 12–16oz coffee · 200 = a free specialty drink · 350 = a free drink + pastry combo · 500 = $15 off XLR8 merch. One reward per order, and rewards can’t be combined with other discounts.
Does my Octane expire?
Octane you've banked toward rewards never expires, cash it in whenever you want. Your status tier is the only thing that resets, once a year, so everyone gets a fresh run at climbing the grid each season.
What are the status tiers?
Three of them, based on the Octane you earn in a year: Pit Crew (start here), Driver (250+ earned), and Champion (750+ earned). Each tier earns Octane faster and unlocks better perks. Drivers get Free Mod Monday plus access to missed-event drops with limited-edition stickers. Champions (Gold status) earn a limited-edition Gold Pit Cup once a year, a special XLR8 award, exclusive events, and a Champion card.
Do I get anything on my birthday?
You do, an XLR8 sticker plus a free any-size drink. Higher tiers get a longer window to redeem it (Drivers 7 days, Champions a full 30).
What's Free Mod Monday?
A Driver-tier perk, one free customization a month (an extra shot, a flavor, alt milk, whatever) on the house. Hit Driver status and you can build your drink your way, on us, every month.
Where can I use my Pit Pass?
Anywhere you find us, the Tucson trailer, mobile pickup orders, and the XLR8 setup at cars & coffee mornings, drift nights, and race weekends. Just give your phone or email when you order and your Octane stacks up automatically.
How do I check my Octane balance?
It's tied to the phone or email on your account, so it's there every time you order. You can also see your live balance and tier on the Pit Pass page once you're signed in.
